City, who beat Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday, need to refocus again quickly to the title race as they welcome the Hammers to the Etihad.

Man City vs West Ham: When it is?

The game in Manchester is scheduled for Wednesday, February 27 with kick-off set for 8pm.

Man City vs West Ham: Team news

City, who are a point behind league leaders Liverpool, are without Aymeric Laporte and Fernandinho for the visit of West Ham.

The pair were forced off during last weekend’s cup final victory and join centre-back John Stones and Gabriel Jesus on the sidelines.

On the positive side, Benjamin Mendy has returned to training following his troublesome knee problem and is on the bench but Claudio Bravo is a long-term absentee with an Achilles injury.

West Ham have Manuel Lanzini on the bench again for the clash after the playmaker made his first appearance of the season as a sub in Friday’s win over Fulham after recovering from a torn ACL.

Fabian Balbuena, who is back in training, will not be involved until the weekend at the earliest, while fellow defender Winston Reid has also begun light training but is some weeks from returning after a serious knee injury.

Jack Wilshere, Andriy Yarmolenko and Carlos Sanchez are still sidelined.
