Liverpool welcome German giants Bayern Munich to Anfield tonight for their Champions League blockbuster.

Liverpool have deployed Fabinho in central defence in the absence of the suspended Virgil Van Dijk.

Van Dijk must serve a one-match ban and Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez are still out so midfielder Fabinho will play alongside Joel Matip.

Roberto Firmino was not involved in training on Monday due to a virus but does start while Xherdan Shaqiri, formerly of Bayern, is on the bench following an abdominal injury.
