Liverpool have sent scouts to watch Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Omur ahead of a proposed summer move, according to reports.
The Turkey Under-21 international has made 21 appearances, starting 19 league games for Trabzonspor this season.
He has helped the club climb to fourth in the Super Lig as they aim to secure a European place.
And as well as the Premier League side, Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb claim Omur’s impressive performances have also caught the eye of Serie A giants Napoli.
The attacking midfielder has scored twice and registered four assists so far this term.
Omur could be seen as a replacement for Adam Lallana, who turns 31 in May.
The England midfielder has struggled for a recent starting place and is behind Fabinho, James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson in the midfield pecking order at Anfield.
Omur, who has come through the ranks at Trabzonspor, has made three appearances for Turkey’s U21 side.
