It seems like everyone has an opinion on the extraordinary incident in the Carabao Cup final which saw Kepa Arrizabalaga defy Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri’s orders and refuse to come off as a substitute.
The goalkeeper went down injured in the closing moments of extra-time and Sarri instructed Willy Caballero, who is a penalty shootout specialist and former Manchester City player, to come on in place of Kepa.
However, the change never happened as Kepa stayed on the pitch, pleading with the Chelsea bench that he was fine to continue, however, this led to Sarri having a huge meltdown on the pitch.

To make matters worse for Chelsea, they lost the final 4-3 on penalties to Manchester City and although Kepa saved Leroy Sane’s spot-kick, he should have also saved Sergio Aguero’s poorly struck shot which could have turned the shootout in the Blues’ favour.
And in the immediate aftermath of the final, some prankster out there decided to fiddle with Kepa’s Wikipedia page, saying he was in fact the Chelsea manager and not Sarri!
