Tottenham superstar Harry Kane could return to action ahead of schedule and face Burnley this weekend.

The England striker damaged ligaments in his left ankle during Spurs’ defeat to Manchester United on January 13.

Early estimations said the 25-year-old would not be back until mid-March but Mauricio Pochettino could have his main man back on Saturday.

Kane has missed seven Spurs games since getting injured.

He was absent for their defeat to Chelsea in the Carabao Cup semi-finals and their FA Cup loss at Crystal Palace.

The superstar striker is ‘likely’ to face Burnley in Saturday’s Premier League clash at Turf Moor after returning to full training this week.

That will mean he’ll be fit for Spurs’ huge upcoming matches against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in the top-flight as well as their Champions League trip to Dortmund.

He has scored 20 goals and provided six assists in all competitions for Spurs and prior to his injury, had netted in six straight games.
