Everton have been named as one of the best places to work in the UK for the second successive year.
The Toffees have been included in the 2019 Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For list, an annual survey of Britain’s finest employers.
Everton have climbed 25 places from 96th to 71st after becoming the first football club to feature in the list last year.
Everton people director Kim Healey said: “We’re very proud to have been named in the ‘Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For’ list for a second year running.
“We take immense pride in being ‘The People’s Club’ and not only do we put our loyal supporters first, we also place huge importance on staff welfare.
“Over the last 12 months we’ve introduced a range of employee benefits and our move to the iconic Royal Liver Building has also helped to improve the working environment and enhance internal communications.”
On the pitch, Everton will be aiming to end their poor run of form against relegation-threatened Cardiff on Tuesday night.
Marco Silva’s men have lost eight of their last 11 games and travel to a Bluebirds side looking to bounce back from their 5-1 thrashing to Watford last Friday.
