The Champions League returns this week for the Round of 16 stage as the remaining teams continue to dream of reaching June’s final in Madrid.

But Europe’s top stars will also be competing to secure the individual prizes up for grabs in the elite competition.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a staggering 15 goals for Real Madrid in last season’s tournament as he helped Los Blancos claim glory for the fourth time in the last five years.

Liverpool’s James Milner provided the most assists with nine while his Reds team-mate Roberto Firmino scored or set-up a hugely impressive 18 goals.
