Brendan Rodgers wants to bring Kieran Tierney from Celtic to Leicester if they lose Ben Chilwell this summer.
Rodgers, who had been Celtic manager since May 2016, was confirmed on Tuesday as the Foxes’ new boss following the sacking of Claude Puel.
Tierney, 21, is currently contracted to Celtic until June 2023 and is also attracting interest from Arsenal.
The Scotland international has developed into one of Europe’s finest defenders, but Leicester will only make a move for him if Chilwell joins Manchester City.
Rodgers is also planning on raiding the Scottish Premiership side for Callum McGregor and James Forrest.
Both players were vital to Celtic’s success under the former Liverpool manager.
McGregor played a crucial role from midfield, while Forrest has scored 13 times and provided 18 assists this season.
