Arsenal will make another move to sign Ever Banega when the summer transfer window opens, according to reports.
Banega, the Sevilla midfielder, was heavily linked with a switch to north London last year after Unai Emery succeeded Arsene Wenger as Gunners boss.
Emery has twice before worked with the 30-year-old, first during a spell at Valencia before the manager took Banega with him when taking charge of Sevilla.
He wanted to reunite with Banega for the third time last summer, but failed, while talks of a January swoop for the Argentina international also collapsed due to a lack of funds.
However, Arsenal will make a renewed approach for Banega when the transfer window reopens this summer, according to The Mirror.
The Gunners are losing Aaron Ramsey from their midfield so need to bring a new player in, with the club hoping Denis Suarez is a hit following his loan move from Barcelona.
Arsenal can buy Suarez outright for £18million before his loan expires, while Banega is reportedly valued slightly cheaper at £17million.
As well as midfield reinforcements, Arsenal want a new left back and a wide forward brought to the Emirates throughout the summer transfer window.
