Each week, leading musicians take our Starting XI Q&A. Next up is grime sensation Yizzy. He’s an Arsenal fan…

1. What was the first football match you went to?
It was Arsenal vs Atletico Madrid in the Emirates Cup (2009) – I remember Reyes coming on and getting booed like mad. It was 1-1 with I think seven, eight minutes to go and me and my brothers were gonna leave but I made them stay. Next thing you know we’re 2-1 up and the game’s won.

2. What was the first gig you went to?
My sister came over from Canada and decided to do a talent show to see what playing to a UK crowd would be like. I was only little at the time so it was my first time seeing any kind of gig but I’ll always remember it because it was the first time I ever heard my sister sing live on stage.

3. Which was better – the match or the gig?
Hmmm, gonna have to go with the match purely because of the fact we were already walking down the stairs to leave the stadium with five minutes left to avoid the rush. If we hadn’t have stayed it would have been the first Arsenal match I went too in my life, and I wouldn’t have seen it to the full-time whistle. That would have been a tragedy.

4. Who was your childhood hero?
Thierry Henry.

5. Who has been your club’s best signing and why?
Thierry Henry, because he turned out to arguably be the greatest player our club has ever seen.

6. Who has been your club’s worst signing and why?
Lucas Perez, I don’t think we needed to sign him at all. He was a waste of money and not the prolific striker that we needed.

7. Sell-out concert at Wembley Stadium, or your team to win the league?
Win the league, I’ll sell out Wembley in my own time.

8. Which footballer would you refuse to do a karaoke duet with?
Harry Kane. Bun fire pon Harry Kane.

9. What’s the best terrace chant you’ve ever heard?
Ohhhhh Santi Cazor-laaaaa.

10. What song do you think your team should run out to?
Giggs – Talking The Hardest aka England’s unofficial national anthem.

11. If you had to support a different team, which one would it be and why?
Crystal Palace, they are the closest team to where I live.
